Oh College!

November 30, 2010 § Leave a comment

So I found this list of things I wish I knew before before I came to College. This list is insanely accurate. Lol

Before I came to college I wish I had known…

❂ That it didn’t matter how late I scheduled my first class, I’d sleep right through it.

❂ That I could change so much and barely realize it.

❂ That you can love a lot of people in a lot of different ways.

❂ That college kids throw airplanes too.

❂ That if you wear polyester everyone will ask you why you’re so dressed up.

❂ That every clock on campus shows a different time.

❂ That if you were smart in high school–so what?

❂ That I would go to a party the night before a final.

❂ That chem labs require more time than all my classes put together.

❂ That you can know everything and fail a test.

❂ That you can know nothing and ace a test.

❂ That I could get used to almost anything I found out about my roommate.

❂ That home is a great place to visit.

❂ That most of my education would be obtained outside of my classes.

❂ That friendship is more than getting drunk together.

❂ That I would be one of those people my parents warned me about.

❂ That free food served until 10:00 is gone by 9:50.

❂ That Sunday is a figment of the world’s imagination.

❂ That Psychology is really Biology,

❂ That Biology is really Chemistry,That Chemistry is really Physics, and Physics is really Math.

❂ That my parents would become so much smarter in the last few years.

❂ That it’s possible to be alone even when you are surrounded by friends

THAT FRIENDS AND ALCOHOL ARE WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE WORTHWHILE!

Ahhh. Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes.
A farewell is necessary before we can meet again, and meeting again, after moments or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends.

Last night I was out clubbing and I saw this girl with an orange Kelly Hermès bag. My initial reaction was to drool over it’s gorgeousness. But then I thought to myself, who the hell brings a GIANT bag at a club? Lmao
Like any other girl, I go gaga over bags. And seeing an actual Hermès bag last night made me want, no sorry the correct term would be need, to have one. When I got home, though intoxicated, I immediately googled about Hermès bags. I came across the Hermès Spring 2011 collection at the Paris Fashion Week. I simply adore this collection! The Spring 2011 collection accurately reflected the essence of the Gaultier-Hermès collaboration: bondage meets horseback riding, provocation meets tradition and as always, admirable tailoring, JPG style.

It is the end of an era at Hermès with their fearless leader Jean-Paul Gaultier, a man who`s never shied from keeping it risqué over there in Paris, leaving after 7 years as creative director. This fellow is legendary, and of course Hermès is one of the strongest icons in fashion, so it seems a shame….like some sort of celebrity wedding separation. But everyone seems to say it`s an amicable split. – Sophia

I was especially impressed by the see through Crocodile skin Kelly bag. I would love love loooove to add this one to my collection of bags! This is a must have, I am telling you. I’ve never before encountered crocodile skin that I could see through. I heard this was the highlight of the collection. I couldn’t agree more. A real crowd pleaser, she was.
Next is the very risky Kelly fanny pack. JPG’s big risk was in attempting to prove that the fanny pack, even if it’s gorgeous Hermès leather, can be at all hip. In all honesty, I think the fanny pack is hardly practical or even that attractive. But of course, Hermès took it to new extremes. Really liking the wear flexibility that comes with the design that allows for hip attachment. The softness that wraps around the body makes it seem like its a part of the body. Small, stylish with the capability to be out of the way allowing for hand free movement. Very nice!
And finally my last choice from the Hermès Spring 2011 collection, the Suri Cruise-approved mini Birkin wrist bag. Amazing. This is just so cute it kills me. I like the idea of using it perhaps not worn as a bracelet but as a change purse within your purse though. Or as a night out bag. If there is one bag that will be on a wait list, this is the one. I love the new black metal hardware. Oh! Le petit Birkin, you are just too cute! I can’t wait to wrap you around my arms, or wrist, for that matter.
What can I say? I love Hermès beyond all brands. This is just proof of what true talent, artistry, class and beauty are all about. This is purely wonderful stuff. It’s so Hermès! So Jean-Paul Gaultier! It seems as though Gaultier had a fine time with his last trip through the Hermès accessory archives. I love the class, the style, the look, the perfection!
Hermès is the creme de la cremethe epitome of timeless style and the ultimate in luxe statements. It’s a shame JPG will be leaving Hermès though. Christophe Lemaire has A LOT to live up to.

Hi WordPress!

November 19, 2010 § 2 Comments

So I finally decided ro make a blog on WordPress. Why? Cause I forgot my password on Blogger and I don’t intend to remember it. Lol

This wordpress blog is still under construction though. Planning to buy a domain, but not now. Maybe later when I’m a 100% sure I can blog on a regular basis and when I finish fixing everything up in here. *grins*

For now, I’ve been and will be blogging via the WordPress app for the iPhone. Because I don’t have extra time in my hands to open my laptop. (sucks, I know right) I can’t fix my blog from here because this app only offers to post. I can’t even see my whole blog here. This is the best option for me right now. What with my messed up schedule and everything. But I’ll make sure to update every now and then. Because I promised myself I would. Or I wouldn’t have made this blog in the first place. Lol

XOXO
